2025 - 2026 Board of Directors

All work of the Foundation is accomplished by private citizens who are elected to serve on the Board of Directors in a volunteer capacity of staggered 3-year terms. Annually, the Board elects officers and directors, reviews policies and practices, evaluates and funds qualified grants, and conducts a financial audit. The Boards of Education of Unit 5 and District 87 encouraged the formation of the Foundation and strongly supported its efforts—a partnership for innovation in public education.

Each board member attends board meetings, serves on at least one committee, and makes personal contributions of time, money, and work in their areas of strength or specialty. Board members are also responsible for soliciting contributions to the Endowment Fund.
